What makes my special agents so special?

I'm romantic suspense author Betty Ann Harris. I write a series of books, The Special Agent Series, and really, all the agents in the series are special and sexy. To me, my special agents are modern day heroes, but instead of slaying dragons or being the knights in shining armor who save the princess, these gallant men save our modern day damsels in distress.

In my first book in the series, Eureka Point, my special agent is the light-haired, blue-eyed, all-American guy, Tom Owens, who saves Katie O'Hara Montgomery, a successful Park Avenue interior designer, who finds herself thrown into a dangerous and totally unexpected situation. Tom finds himself totally smitten with Katie, but business comes first, which in this suspenseful story, is saving her life. With her estranged and mentally unstable husband looking for her and a dangerous South American drug cartel wanting to silence her, there is no time for the blossoming romance and the passions they feel for each other, so they must hold their feelings for each other in check until Katie is safe. But will she ever be safe? To find out you'll have to read Eureka Point, now available in paperback at Amazon.com.

Although all my special agents are the very best at what they do, Stephen O'Leary from My Very Special Agent, is indeed, very special. Stephen is quite experienced at protecting people, having been in the Secret Service for years. Now he is assigned to protect best-selling romance author Maggie Tyler, who is being stalked by a psychotic fan.

Stephen takes Maggie to a cabin in upstate New York to keep her out of the limelight and out of danger, but is she really safe? My Very Special Agent is available at Red Rose Publishing, http://www.redrosepublishing.com.

Finally, you should meet my most recent special agent, James Kelly, from The Darkhorse Conspiracy, also available at Red Rose Publishing, http://www.redrosepublishing.com. James is assigned to find and protect international journalist, Stephanie Alexander, who is in hiding in Costa Rica. In a quick-moving, suspense-filled story that will take you from NYC to Costa Rica to Washington, DC, James must not only find Stephanie and save her life, but also defray a terroristic threat against the US.

Will James find Stephanie in time? To find out, you'll have to read The Darkhorse Conspiracy.
