1. Where do you hail from? What do you love most about your hometown?
I’m from the Ozark Mountains in the beautiful state of Missouri. I love the romantic feel to the countryside, the friendliness of the people, and I can’t say enough about the fabulous food.
2. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
It seems like I had a new dream every couple of days. LOL, Growing up, I wanted to be everything from a teacher to an astronaut. I would love to imagine big things and then put pen to paper. It wasn’t until high school that I realized it wasn’t these different professions that really interested me, it was telling the stories that went with them. I wanted to b
e a writer!

4. Tell us about your latest book.
My latest book, The Genie of the Portrait, was released today. I’m so excited about this little story. Here is a quick teaser …
Amanda had always been forgiving, until the night of her engagement. It was at that moment, when she found her new fiancé banging the waitress in the bathroom, that she changed. Never again. Men were not going to use her ever again.
So when she found William’s portrait and learned that his whole purpose for existing was to let her use him, an electrifying relationship resulted. This genie offered her three nights of pleasure. And Amanda quickly realized she wanted more.

5. Do you have anything new in the works and can you tell us a bit about it?
I have a fun new series (Katt Tales) that will start to come out this summer with Secret Cravings Publishing. Book one, Chasing Tabby, asks the question … can there really be any love between a werecat and a werewolf? And book two, Catching Hell, explores the explosive relationship between a werecat and a bounty hunter.
Secret Cravings Publishing is a great little publisher too. You can check them out at http://www.secretcravingpublishing.com
6. Is there anything you find particularly challenging about writing?
The act of sitting down and actually doing it, finding the time to type, that is the biggest challenge for me. I’m a mom of 4 kids that range from teenage to preschool. Sometimes the day is just not long enough.
7. What advice would you give to writers just starting out?
First and foremost, write because you enjoy it!
